Entry Pages

Entry Pages are first pages that folks see when they visit your site.

Multiple entry pages increase the value of your site by making the experience highly focused on a particular set of needs. They make your site more valuable, more bookmarkable, and easier to promote. And, in turn, they function as part of your promotion strategy.

People visit you site with one of two objectives. They come to solve a problem or to answer a question.

You should have a list of five or six or seven at most areas that you'll want to build entry pages around and promote around. Build individual pages to help people find the solution or answer. Design them to be search engine friendly. Then promote them in your print and in your web efforts.
