Getting a Great
Business Website
Project Management
Close the watertight doors as you go.
There are several phases of your website project where you will sign off on key decisions. You will approve the general look and feel of the site, for example. As the project goes along, it gets tempting to re-visit earlier decisions as you or your designer or one of your people or your golfing buddy suggests something that you could do. Resist that temptation.
Once you've made a basic decision, it's usually best to stay with it. Make note of things you want to change once the site is up, but keep moving. Otherwise you may have one of those great web projects that's never finished, but costs a bundle.
