Visitor Vignettes
In order to use Visitor Vignettes effectively, you need to draw up two profiles.
The first of these is a Visitor General Profile. The General Profile outlines things that you know about your key visitors in terms of who they are and what they do, unrelated to buying from you. You'll usually have several of these.
Then there's the Visitor Market Profile. The Market Profile includes information about the same folks you've profiled in the General Profile, but the information is about characteristics and behaviors related to when, how and why they do business with you.
Once you've got the Profiles drawn up, you can imagine what a session on your website (or in your store) would be like and describe that session in a story-like form.
I've developed some samples for you to review.
